g:Convert is able to convert between various gene, protein, microarray probe and numerous other types of namespaces. We provide at least 40 types of IDs for more than 60 species that we obtain from Ensembl Biomart (26). The most complex are human data where 98 different identifier types are included currently. All identifiers are obtained through matching them via Ensembl gene identifiers (ENSG) as a reference. g:Convert also accepts mixed identifier types as input.
