TAF15 belongs to the FET family of conserved RBPs that play essential roles in the tumorigenesis of various cancers such as liposarcoma and neuroectodermal tumor.30,31 Our study verified that TAF15 was downregulated in glioma tissues and cells, and overexpression of TAF15 inhibited the malignant progression of glioma cells. TAF15 was also previously shown to be downregulated in human differentiating embryonic stem cells.32
