Text

During the “Decade of the Brain” in the 1990s (Jones and Mendell 1999), a number of major neuroimaging centers began to scan hundreds of patients and healthy individuals using a variety of neuroimaging methods. The structure and function of the living brain was beginning to be mapped in unprecedented detail in human populations.
