Table 2 reports the fit statistics for the linear and the quadratic models for all risk behaviors. Trajectories of alcohol use, drunkenness, smoking, and HIV-related sexual risk behavior were better described by models with quadratic slopes. The course of cannabis use and deviance were sufficiently well characterized by models with linear slopes.
