Figure 4 shows significant association differences between males and females in each modality. Significant sex differences indicated in the left panel of this figure correspond approximately to the differences indicated between the left and right panels of Figure 3. The large sex differences found here are comparable to those exhibited in Cousminer et al. (2013) for human height in adolescents.
