As an online supplement to this report, we also analyzed lifetime endorsement of alcohol disorder criteria. Results indicated that, similarly to the analysis of past 12-month criteria, craving is relatively rare compared to other criteria, is unidimensional with existing DSM-IV criteria, exhibits high severity and discrimination, and improves the fit of the alcohol disorder criteria to the data.
