TS girls also have abnormal patterns of brain activation in frontal and parietal cortices and subcortical regions, such as the caudate during visuospatial tasks (Kesler et al. 2004), executive function (Haberecht et al. 2001; Hart et al. 2006) and arithmetic tasks (Kesler et al. 2006).
