We calculated odds ratios for spirometrically-defined COPD for weighted risk score deciles in UK Biobank (incorporating UK BiLEVE, 10,547 cases, pre-bronchodilator % predicted FEV1<80% and FEV1/FVC<0.7, and 53,948 controls, FEV1/FVC>0.7 and % predicted FEV1>80%). The weighting of the risk score was undertaken using COPD logOR calculated in studies free of winner’s curse bias (Supplementary Table 21). We scaled the logOR, so that the weights added up to 95.
