A varimax rotation with .40 as the minimum loading criterion was used to obtain an orthogonal factor solution. One item (loading <.40) was excluded and three factors were identified. Based on the content of the items, the scales were identified as PA (8 items), RA (13 items), and a third unidentified factor (4 items). This third factor contained no items loading at .60 and above, thus was not considered reliable per the guidelines of Guadagnoli and Velicer (1988). We included only those items loading on the PA and RA scales further.
