Human glial chimeras were prepared as described, using either rag1-/- or rag2-/- immunodeficient mice (as described in Windrem et al., 2008, though using mice wild-type for myelin); see Supplementary Methods for additional detail. All experiments were approved by the University of Rochester’s Research Animal Care and Use Committee.
