Past-year estimates of treatment utilization vary by study and range from less than 10% (Chartier et al., 2016) to over 20% (Evans-Polce, 2016). Of note is the fact that past-year estimates were assessed in the 1990s (Chartier et al., 2016), early 2000s (Chartier et al., 2016), and early 2010s (Evans-Polce, 2016) which may reflect natural generational or other sample differences (see below).
