Finally, antalarmin, a CRF1 antagonist, reduces ethanol in-take in P (Table 4) as well as FH/Wjd rats (Overstreet et al., 2007). Other CRF1 antagonists have shown no effect on, or possible increases in, ethanol intake by sP rats (Table 4).
