Auditory fear conditioning, contextual conditioning, Barnes maze navigation, object location memory, Crawley’s social interaction tasks, and both thermal and mechanical sensitivity thresholds were assessed in human glial chimeric and control mice; the latter included allografted and/or unengrafted negative controls. All tests and analyses were performed as outlined in Supplementary Methods.
