In comparison, the WP avoided family argument effect was significant for both African Americans (estimate = 0.32, SE = 0.13, p < .01) and European Americans (estimate = 0.10, SE = 0.05, p < .05), indicating that respondents reported more physical symptoms on days they avoided a family argument compared to days they did not avoid a family argument (Table 3, Model 3).
