with impulsive action, not impulsive choice, compulsivity or general hyperactivity. For heroin SA, HSV-Crem-Gfp or HSV-Gfp was bilaterally infused into the AcbC of a different cohort of animals the day before the first session. Over-expression did not impact responses on the heroin-associated active lever but significantly decreased inactive lever pressing (F1,9=13.50, p=0.005, Fig. 2f). These data indicate that AcbC Crem does not affect heroin reinforcement per se but decreases impulsive action in the context of a reward-related behavior.
