Behavioral rating scales can provide useful information, in a standardized format, from multiple informants, and can be used to monitor response to treatment. Many measures are available, such as the Child Behavior Checklist, the Strength and Difficulties Questionnaires, and specific ADHD scales, eg, the Conners’ rating scales. The Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF) is a useful tool for evaluating behavioral, social, and emotional aspects of executive functioning in children with FASD.35
