The biological nature of the metagenes was assessed using the gene set overlap analysis with known biological processes described in GeneGo or Ingenuity. Significance of the overlaps between the lists was assessed using Bonferroni-corrected p-values [28], using Merck's proprietary Target and Gene Information system.
