Results of Cox PH regression analyses using broadly defined childhood trauma to predict alcohol use initiation are shown in columns 4 and 5 of Table 4. Results were highly consistent with those from the interpersonal childhood trauma analyses. Hazard ratios in both Model 1 and Model 2 were nearly identical to those from the childhood interpersonal trauma models and no violations of the PH assumption were observed.
