mRNA was isolated using the RNeasy Mini Kit and RNase-Free DNase set (Qiagen), and template cDNA was prepared by reverse transcription using the SuperScript III First-Strand Synthesis SuperMix for qRT-PCR (Life Technologies). Real time qPCR was performed using SYBR GREEN (Roche) on a ViiA7 machine (Applied Biosystems, Life Technologies). Data was processed using the QuantStudio RT-PCR software (Applied Biosystems).
