The correlation of relative ASE measures between two experimental runs was 0.91 and 0.76 for rs16969968 and rs615470, respectively. We also compared the allelic mRNA expression in 26 samples that are heterozygous for both rs16969968 and rs615470 and observed consistent relative allelic expression (correlation = 0.74) between the two markers (Figure S3).
