We have subtracted the evoked response from the raw data to investigate whether or not the observed phase synchronization is due to the induced oscillations. To further examine whether the observed synchronization was due to the induced oscillations, we have subtracted the evoked response using a method described by Truccolo et al.23 We have included these results in Supplementary Fig. 3.
