Parental histories of other drug, depression, and antisocial behavior problems were ascertained in separate modules of the AUDADIS following the module evaluating the participant’s own history of this type of problem with questions in the same format as parental alcohol problems. From this information, a variable was created representing combined parental history of other drug, depression, or antisocial behavior problems.
