As BRCA1-IRIS, HuR, and Wip1 are all induced after UV radiation exposure, it is thought that this mechanism is activated after UV radiation and that Wip1 inhibits UV radiation-induced apoptosis through inhibition of p38 MAPK and p53, which will be discussed in Section 4 (43).
