Next, models predicting post-consumption sedation ratings were compared. Here, ASQ-Heavy produced the best-fitting model, which was strongly preferred over the SRE 3-mo. (ΔAIC = 15.8, evidence ratio = 2,640) and ASQ-Light models (ΔAIC = 8.23, evidence ratio = 61.3). As shown in Figure 2, relative to lower scores, higher scores on ASQ-Heavy predicted less sedation across time, and this pattern was more apparent following alcohol than following placebo consumption. Dropping the interaction with beverage group led to a substantial loss of prediction (ΔAIC = 12.9; evidence ratio = 631).
