and individual differences measures. Of the 124 participants in this study, 40 participants went on to complete a pharmacogenetic study of naltrexone (Ray and Hutchison, 2007). This study focuses on the sample of 124 (39 females) participants selected for a pattern of hazardous drinking and unselected for genotype for whom the average age was 22.53 (SD = 2.56; range = 21 to 33). The ethnic composition of the sample was the following: Caucasian (87.8%), Asians (4.9%), Latino (4.1%), Native Americans (2.4%), and African Americans (0.8%).
