Examination of ENK and DYN-immunostained sections from colchicine-treated mice reveals that, as expected, D1 MSNs are immunoreactive for DYN but not for ENK. In contrast, D2 MSNs contain ENK but are devoid of DYN. In regard to D1/D2 MSNs, they are immunopositive for DYN but immunonegative for ENK (Fig. 2).
