All study subjects were measured for anthropometry including body weight and height. BMI is calculated as weight divided by square of height. BMI ≥30 kg/m2 is considered obese. Blood samples were collected for DNA extraction using the PureGene system (Gentra Systems, Minneapolis, MN).
