As summarized in Figure 3, the genetic correlations [95% CIs] between AUD and DIV were positive and large for males (rA = +0.76 [0.53, 0.90]) and females (rA = +0.52 [0.24, 0.67]). The nonshared environmental correlations between AUD and DIV were positive and moderate for males (rE = +0.32 [0.31, 0.40]) and females (rE = +0.27 [0.27, 0.36]). The shared environmental correlations for AUD and DIV were not different from zero for males (rC = +0.34 [−1.00, 0.46]) or females (rC = +0.76 [ −1.00, 1.00]).
