F(4.8,288) = 7.33, p < 0.001 were detected. In experiment 1, a main effect of Block and an interaction of Block × Line F(4.0,124.8) > 3.97, ps < 0.005 were detected, therefore HAP2 and LAP2 were stratified. Simple main effects were detected in both HAP2 F(3.1,46.4) = 19.71, p < 0.001 and LAP2 F(4.5,72.3) = 8.63, p < 0.001 lines, so paired t-tests were performed by Block back to the first block within Line. To control for multiple comparisons, we used a Bonferroni-corrected α of 0.00714. In HAP2s, the RTs were slower in the seventh and eighth blocks than the first block ts(15) > 4.93, ps < 0.001. In LAP2s, RTs improved in the second block, but were then unchanged through the last block. Large increases in RTs were only seen in the HAP2s.
