Lifetime mean number of traumatic events (TE load) in the total sample was 2.67 (s.d.=2.17). Males and older respondents (45+) reported a significantly greater mean number of traumatic events than females and those under 45, but mean number of events did not differ by immigrant status or income levels (Table 1). Mean number of PTSD symptoms in the total sample was 2.48 (s.d.=3.42). Females, older participants (45+), and immigrants endorsed significantly more PTSD symptoms on average, relative to males, younger participants, and non-immigrants; mean number of PTSD symptoms did not differ by income levels (Table 1).
