The statistical differences between conditions and between groups for current density at the source are shown in Table 6. The cortical areas that show significant differences at < .05 level are shown in yellow color in Figures 5 and 6. As shown in Table 6, the difference between current densities of task conditions was found to be significant in both groups with activation during NoGo task being higher. This difference was maximum at BA 32 of the right frontal cortex (Log of ratio of averages = 0.996, p < .01) in the control group whereas it was maximum at BA 24 of the right limbic lobe (Log of ratio of averages = 0.996, p < .01) in the alcoholic group. However, groups differed significantly only on the NoGo current density with a maximum difference (Log of ratio of averages = 1.611, p < .01) at BA 10 of the left anterior prefrontal cortex (Table 6).
