For example women are at lower risk for using recreational drugs in the general population (7% of women versus 18% of men in the general population have used recreational drugs at least 10 times), but the rates of recreational drug use are much more comparable between men and women among individuals with severe psychosis (37% of women versus 45% of men with severe psychosis have used recreational drugs at least 10 times).
