Resolution and conspicuity were adequate to determine fractions of gray matter, white matter and CSF in the frontal MRS voxel and CSF/tissue proportion in the thalamus voxel to evaluate whether differences in metabolite levels were related to differences in the relative proportions of tissue volumes.
