The investigators therefore also included a structured psychiatric interview (the Structured Interview for Schizotype, SIS) [Kendler et al., 1989] to assess if these traits were related to brain structural differences. MRI regions of interest were manually delineated, including volumes of whole brain, right- and left-prefrontal lobes, temporal lobes, basal ganglia, amygdalo-hippocampal complex, and ventricles.
