Further, regions of interest used in the current study were based on the use of an atlas within SPM, rather than hand-drawn individualized ROIs. While this method affords consistency of localization for the regions of interest for analyses both within and between subject groups, results must be interpreted as regional, rather than absolutely anatomically precise.
