If their friend or partner was also a member of the in-home sample, their data could be linked to construct friendship and partner contexts. In the 16 schools that were part of the ‘saturated’ sample, all students in the school were also interviewed in the home. Complete friendship and sexual networks could therefore be constructed with these data.
