specifically predicts sensitivity to both positivity and negativity, whereas vantage sensitivity is more narrowly focused in that it predicts sensitivity only to environmental positivity. Relevant to the current study is that both DST and vantage sensitivity suggest that exposure to interparental relations should be conditioned by endogenous factors such as child genotype. Such factors can provide a more complete picture of family influence on adolescent well-being.
