Recordings were obtained using MultiClamp700B amplifiers (Molecular Devices), filtered at 3 kHz using a Bessel filter and digitized at 10 kHz with Digidata 1440A digitizer (Molecular Devices). In order to characterize electrophysiological properties, cells were injected with hyperpolarizing and depolarizing square wave current pulses (-5 to +25 pA, 5 pA increment, 1 s). The data were analyzed using the Clampfit 10 software (Molecular Devices).
