These domains have been replicated across gender and race/ethnic groups (64, 65). Given the changing legal and attitudinal climate in the U.S. regarding marijuana use, re-examining cannabis use disorders within this transdiagnostic framework is warranted to better understand its relationship to other substance and psychiatric disorders, and to inform the development of more effective treatments.
