The GENEVA projects covered in this article are (1) Addiction to alcohol and other drugs, (2) Lung Cancer, (3) Type 2 diabetes (T2D) with subjects from the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS) and (4) T2D with subjects from the Health Professionals Follow-up Study (HPFS). The Addiction and Lung Cancer projects were genotyped on the Illumina Human1Mv1_c and HumanHap550-2v3_B arrays, respectively, at the Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR). The T2D projects were genotyped on the Affymetrix Genome-Wide Human 6.0 array at the Broad Institute Center for Genotyping and Analysis (Broad). Data for these projects, along with QC/QA reports are posted in the NCBI database for Genotypes and Phenotypes [Mailman, et al. 2007] (dbGaP).
