The NAcc also displayed strong negative connectivity with insula and control regions, such as: anterior cingulate cortex, middle temporal cortex (region MT+) and parietal regions. The ADHD-C group displayed stronger negative connections to the thalamus, to the right inferior parietal lobule (precentral gyrus) and to the posterior insula bilaterally. Controls displayed stronger negative connectivity to a region on the left middle frontal gyrus, near the precentral sulcus. The between-group difference was confirmed by the direct comparison.
