When the subjects were 15 years, structured psychiatric interviews using a French translation of the Diagnostic Interview Schedule for Children-2.25 (DISC-2.25) [97] were used with the mothers and the subjects to estimate the prevalence of DSM-III-R diagnoses such as: simple phobia, anxiety of separation, generalized anxiety, hyper anxiety, major depression, dysthymia, oppositional disorder and conduct disorder, over the previous 6 months [87]. Subjects were also asked whether they had a psychiatric record during the interview at 21 years.
