Results indicated that observed attentional control at age 2 was positively associated with receptive language (unstandardized: β = 21.03, p = .00), cognitive flexibility (unstandardized: β = .57, p = .00), and behavioral IC (unstandardized: β = 1.08, p = .00) at age 3. Thus, as children’s accuracy on the visual search task increased, their performance on the PPVT, DCCS, and Marker Delay tasks at age 3 tended to be higher.
