Since sensation seeking and sources of social support tend to change across the adulthood years, we capitalized on the rich dataset from the Collaborative Study on the Genetics of Alcoholism (COGA) which include participants of a wide age range, to explore whether the associations between alc-GPS, sensation seeking, social support, and alcohol use vary across developmental stages (i.e., emerging adulthoods vs. young adulthood vs. middle adulthood).
