correlate with APD, consistent with the findings reported in Table 3. No relationships were predicted with any facet of openness, nor were any obtained. Four of the six facets of antagonism were predicted to correlate with APD (i.e., low straightforwardness, altruism, compliance, and tender-mindedness). Three of these were confirmed and another facet (i.e., trust) also reached significance. Finally, APD was predicted to correlate negatively with the conscientiousness facets of dutifulness, self-discipline, and deliberation. Again, these three findings were confirmed by the findings of the current meta-analysis, while the facet of competence also emerged.
