Blood glucose levels in female Cyp1b1-ko mice remained normal even in L1&2 select progeny, for which BW was appreciably elevated by the HFD (Figure 3E). However, male L1&2 select progeny exhibited glucose levels that were elevated in proportion to the substantial BW increases (Figure S3A). The mice derived from the het/Cyp1b1-ko crosses exhibited substantial decreases in blood glucose levels, despite a 2-fold range of BW (Figures 3F and S3B). The uncoupling of Cyp1b1 deletion effects on blood glucose from adiposity reflects the numerous differences in their control [39].
