Four months after transplantation, some of grafted cells expressed more mature cortical interneuron markers Somato-statin, Parvalbumin, Calretinin, Neuropeptide Y and Calbindin (Fig. 6m – q and Table 5). Transplanted cells generated very small numbers of astrocytes (GFAP+; Fig. 6r and Table 5) or oligodendrocyte lineage cells at this time point (Olig2+; Fig. 6s and Table 5).
