Using publicly available summary statistics from independent dataset of LD Hub (http://ldsc.broadinstitute.org), we tested the observed genetic correlations for multiple published traits (Table 5, Supplemental Table 3). Using 0.05 as the cutoff p-value, a moderate positive correlation was observed between OUD and insomnia, two pain phenotypes, and depressive symptoms. We did not observe correlations with smoking or alcohol traits in this external dataset.
