Mice of both generations drank more during the second 2-hour period on Day 2 [F(1,319) = 114.9, p < .0001], and the interaction was significant [F(1,319) = 7.2, p < .01]. Mice of S11 increased their drinking during the second period relative to the first by about .5 g/kg as compared to S0 mice (increases of 1.37 ± .16 and .82 ± .13 g/kg, respectively).
