We further investigate whether there is an efficient coupling scheme for a NoN comprising three subnetworks of different ω¯α. We assume that each subnetwork retains the super-hub topology with Nα = 50 (α = 1, 2, 3), k = 6, Kintra = 4, and Kinter = 40 and that the total number of inter-subnetwork links is nine. The average natural frequencies of the three subnetworks are ω¯1=ω0-Δω, ω¯2=ω0, and ω¯3=ω0+Δω, with ω0 = 4.5. To simplify the discussion, the variation of the natural frequency within each subnetwork (σω1, σω2, σω3) is set as zero. A total of 250 realizations are sampled for each condition.
